Celebrating

I have been complaining about the weather a lot lately, rightfully so. It played along on one day and disappointed on the Sunday when we had hoped for some sunshine.

Friday, May 24th we celebrated our daughter's civil wedding ceremony in downtown San Diego. The weather played along, with sunny skies and warmer temperatures.
We dined at Tom Ham's Lighthouse at the water with our new family  and enjoyed a really memorable day.

On Sunday the kids had planned (since February) a Wedding Shower to be held in the in-law's backyard. Theme: Mexican Fiesta.

It was a great party even though it was cold, windy and drizzling most of the day. Tents, heaters and some Tequila kept everyone in a good mood.
