Slow progress

Ein taegliches email von Knitting Daily enthaelt immer wieder gute Tips und Links. Dieses Mal wurde das Buch Best of Interweave Knits vorgestellt. Das habe ich gleich auf meine Amazon Wunschliste gesetzt. Die Projekte sind alle sowieso neu fuer mich, da ich das Interweave Magazin erst seit diesem Sommer abonniert habe. Langjaehrige Abonnenten koennen ihre eigene Sammlung anlegen und sich diesen Kauf sparen. Soviele Projekte und sowenig Zeit. Ich troedel immer noch an der zweiten Socke herum. Es koennte doch so schnell gehen, da ich die erste Socke ja ganz flott abnadelte. Aber nun muss ich mich immer zwingen dieses Teil ueberhaupt abends zu greifen. Ich wuerde viel lieber etwas neues anfangen. Ich stricke halt nicht gerne dasselbe zweimal. Deshalb sind Socken nicht so mein Ding.

Leider muss ich meine Pfauenfeder Jacke nochmal auftrennen. Nach dem letzten Waschen haben sich die Aermel so stark in die Laenge gezogen, dass ich die Jacke nicht tragen kann. Nun muss ich nur die Aermel aus dem Koerperteil heraustrennen und vielleicht fast fuenf cm aufribbeln. Dann wieder einnaehen. Kein groesses Problem, leider nur muehsame Arbeit. Das werde ich gleich nach der zweiten Socke ausfuehren.

I like the daily emails sent by Knitting Daily. Usually a lot of information and some cool links too. This time they introduce the book Best of Interweave Knits. I will put that on my list.

My second sock is not making much progress. I do not like knitting the same thing twice, probably that is why socks are not my favorite project.
Unfortunately I am also not too happy with my Peacock Sweater. After washing it, the sleeves just grew to be too long and now when I wear it, they flap way over my hands. It is an easy correction, just have to undo the sleeves from the body and unravel about 2 inches maybe, then sew tham back on. This is next on my list of things, as soon as I finish the second sock (hopefully before the holidays...).
