Invasion of the slimey kind

Since the recent rains here in San Diego we have many more snails than previous years. I have to keep an eye on my plants because if they find one that is tasty it is gone in one day. You can almost hear them munching the leaves. Too bad I have not spotted our lizard in a long time. She would have taken care of them.

  1. A couple of years ago at the Spring Garden Show in Del Mar, I found a woman who was selling little predator snails. They don't eat plants, just those big plant-eating snails! I've since seen the same snails advertised elsewhere, too. You just put them out in the garden and they take care of your snail problem. You might want to look for some.
